Clint Shelley, DDS

Before attending dental school, Dr. Clint Shelley enlisted in the military and translated Chinese (Mandarin) for 4 years. Once Dr. Shelley completed dental school, he entered active duty for 14 years as an oral surgeon and continued to serve as an oral surgeon in a combat support hospital. He focuses his line of practice on facial trauma, corrective jaw surgery, dental implants, All-On-4 cases and full arch reconstructions, bone graft, TMJ dysfunction, oral pathology, alveoplasty, tooth extractions, and wisdom teeth removal. Dr. Shelley is a valued member of the American Dental Association (ADA), American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (AAOMS), Colorado Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the Colorado Dental Association

Education

Dr. Clint Shelley received his Bachelor’s Degree in Chinese (Mandarin) from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, UT in 2005. While in undergraduate school, he was also a member of the ROTC and graduated as a distinguished military graduate. He went on to receive his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, CA in 2008. During his time there, he was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship Award, and earned a Certificate of Excellence in Anatomical Sciences. This certificate is only awarded to the top 10% of students in the human anatomy class. Later, Dr. Shelley completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, GA in 2012.

Personal

Dr. Clint Shelley grew up in Highland, Utah and is bilingual, speaking both English and Chinese (Mandarin). Outside of the office, he enjoys the outdoors, skiing, running, cycling, and spending time with his wife and four children. He is also an avid sports fan and loves to watch football, basketball, and especially baseball. Noted on his bucket list, Dr. Shelley hopes to take his family to every major league baseball stadium in the U.S.
